Main Challenges of Education System

It is necessary to face some important challenges of our current education system to improve the quality of education:

• Budget and Reform: It has been recommended to allocate 20 percent of the national budget for the improvement of the education sector.
• Student Absenteeism: The rate of absenteeism of students at the secondary level is decreasing alarmingly (average attendance 48.1%).
• Coaching Dependency: Due to regular classes not being held in schools and absence of teachers, students are becoming dependent on coaching centers.
• Student-Teacher Relationship: Recently, the student-teacher relationship is deteriorating, which is having a negative impact on the education environment.
